28th April 2012
Windsurfing: felixstowe-Dip
Wind Direction: NE
Wind Stength: some then loads
Surf / Sea State: rollers
Air Temperature: 9
Sea Temperature: 9.4
Weather: cloud then rain
Max Speed: 23.1 (knots - unless stated otherwise)
Distance Covered: 8.9 (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise)

Miserable, wet morning then off the beach in a rain-break. Looked flattish 7.3m as I put wetsuit on and wind picked up so 94l/6m. Nice for a few runs then overpowered so 85l.4.7m, and had to flatten 4.7m as overpowered further out as wind swinging a bit off at times and up and down. Don't know how I got gybes in a further out as so windy, maybe hiding in troughs helped. Good rollers, but very close together. Some great runs in along waves faces, and even a couple of small jumps.
Lots wrong with wind swinging, varying in power, shorebreak in usual launching bay (but other much better), changing gear and didn't sail that much, but somehow really enjoyed it and 4* sounds right as feeling is what it's all about.
